Our Work
A key aim of the trust is to empower girls through education by providing scholarships and programs, such as career counseling, to ensure access to quality education and vocational training. These initiatives are particularly focused on girls from under-served backgrounds, helping them realize their full potential and become future leaders.
WhatThe Board of Trustees of Madhuram Charitable Trust for Futures (Madhuram Futures) has established a scholarship award in honor of their ancestors, dedicated to advancing girls’ education and empowerment and fulfilling their vision of a brighter future for young women.
CriteriaThe scholarship will be awarded to a female student who achieves the highest marks, with a minimum of 75% of the total possible marks, among all regular students from this school who have passed the Class X Board Examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board. The recipient must be continuing her education in Class XI and XII or its equivalent, either at the same school or another recognized institution in India or abroad that conducts Class XII or equivalent examinations.

The Board of Trustees have decided to give the first award of Rs. 1 (one) lakh to Ms. Saloni Kumari d/o Vinod Kumar Chaurasia who has topped amongst the students of Rama Jain Girls +2 School, Sasaram in Class X Board Examination held in 2024. A key aim of the trust is to empower girls through education by providing scholarships and programs, such as career counseling, to ensure access to quality education and vocational training. These initiatives are particularly focused on girls from under-served backgrounds, helping them realize their full potential and become future leaders.
WhatThe career counseling provided to girls will include guidance on a range of career options, industries, and necessary qualifications. Career counselors will offer personalized insights to help students explore different fields and understand the skills and education required for various professions. This support will enable students to make well-informed decisions about their subject choices and career paths, aligning their education with their aspirations and the opportunities available to them. To begin with, we will offer guidance in the following career areas: Medicine (Doctor), Business (including roles in large global companies and starting one’s own company), Fine Arts, and Legal (Lawyer).

The career counseling program will begin with a combined introductory online session for all students. This will be followed by two rounds of eight separate online sessions, each focusing on a specific career field, to provide comprehensive insights and guidance.
Meeting 2 (November 2024): Follow-up online video calls will feature eight separate sessions, each focused on a specific career field: (1) Medical, (2) Engineering, (3) Business, (4) Sales, (5) Fine Arts, (6) Law, (7) Product Management, and (8) Consulting.
Meeting 3 (January 2025): Additional online video calls will provide eight separate sessions, mirroring those in Meeting 2, to offer further in-depth exploration of each career field.
